Registration and Program Changes
Students will register on the day and hour designated
for this purpose. After registration, students will be able to
make changes to their class programs during the period specified in the
Academic Calendar.
- Program modifications during the period of changes: To drop
a course or change a course during the period of change designated
on the Academic Calendar, the student should complete a change-of-program
form. The student will then pay the fees set by the Bursar's
Office and will present the receipts of payment with the completed
change-of-program form to the Registrar's Office.
- Dropping courses: After the period of change of program has
ended, a student will be able to drop one or more courses (
partial withdrawal or total withdrawal). For partial withdrawal,
the student will first consult the professor/advisor of the
course and will present a completed partial withdrawal form to the
Registrar's Office After dropping the course, the student will be
able to continue attending the course with the instructor's permission.
For total withdrawal from the School, students will
be interviewed by the Dean of the School & by the Dean of Academic
Affairs professional Guidance Counselor and the Financial Air Office
in order to complete the withdrawal form, which they will present to
the Bursar's Office.
A student who drops a course or completely withdrawals
from the University during the period designated on the academic calendar
will receive a grade of W. The last day for partial
or total withdrawal from course will be:
- Semester: The last day of classes.
- Summer: The last day of
classes
